Course title: CSR2VET Short Description: CSR2VET is a project which aims to promote CSR as a methodology for improving the VET sector. It also aims to increase engagement and participation of fewer opportunity people in VET and increase employability opportunities and promote new roles in companies through CSR. Also, it aims to increase the awareness of educational situations, especially vocational education, on social responsibility. Description: In the first Module you will get a set of basic information to understant the CSR framework and to learn about the mile stones of its story. In addition you will find a section focused on the connection between CSR and VET, some exercises in progress and, finally, some activities to learn and play. In the Module.2 we’ll explore τhe connection between CSR and VET is about creating a more sustainable and responsible future for individuals, communities, and the environment. By partnering to support workforce development, community engagement, and environmental sustainability, companies and VET organisations can learn from each other and work together to create a positive impact on society and the environment. By implementing these good practices, VET providers can contribute to the overall betterment of society, promote ethical and sustainable practices among learners, and build a positive reputation as responsible and socially conscious institutions. Ultimately, CSR in the VET framework can help shape the next generation of ethical and responsible professionals, who are equipped to make a positive impact in their communities and the world at large. In Module 3 we’ll explore the application of Corporate Social Responsibility brings a number of benefits and the school and vocational education and training sector, as a pillar of society, has the mission to influence and guide society. Schools and the vocational education and training sector lead society through the work they do and the work they offer. These educational and training environments, which make up a large part of society, are the places where social responsibility is most intense. In Module 4 we’ll explore the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were adopted on 25 September 2015 by 193 countries to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure prosperity for all as part of a new sustainable development agenda. These goals focus on mobilising efforts globally to end poverty and create a life of dignity and opportunity for all. With the advancement in technology,in Module 5, communication and transportation the world becomes more and more interconnected and global everyday thus making the importance of being able to communicate across cultural boundaries more vital and thus the need to be more accepting, flexible and tolerant essential. Interculturality plays a vital role in helping individuals to communicate across different cultures, social groups and backgrounds. Interculturality is also essential in the breaking down of cultural barriers, conflicts and the building of cultural norms, awareness and intercultural collaboration.
